Firehouse Expo 2007

Deputy Chief Robert Cobb, Jersey City FD, NJ conducts hands-on training at the Baltimore City FD Training Facility. His class is divided into small tactical groups. Over the course of two days Firefighters from many states, and some foreign countries, will be trained in the latest techniques for search using TED - Target Exit Device in conjunction with search guide ropes. The obstacles and environments to be encountered include tower (high rise) techniques, nearly-blind search rope recovery tactics, and a very effective smoke house session.
